I long for the day when I become halfway decent at naming things~ ^^;

If I remember correctly, I was trying to do a deliberately forced smile in this shot... Unfortunately I only seem to be able to do 3 emotions: Very happy, happy, and blank... I shall work on this for the future~ 8'D

The main adjustment that she's made is overall and selective brightening. The unusual quality of this photo is largely brought by the red light that was bouncing around everywhere near this background; it made getting the right white balance challenging.

It's done on purpose, I've been trying out different editing styles and because of the general appearance of the show, I attempted to emulate the very brigh cartoony, unrealistic style for this one

I'll be blunt, it's killing a lot of the detail and making it look overly "fake"

While I'm not trying to bash, I had to make an actual critique rather then the fanboys down here that usually scream OMG KAWAII SO PERFECT, rather then point out what needs improvement :P

And I do appreciate that, really, getting the same few words of praise every photo is boring as hell and really not much help, believe me I feel the same way~
I'm not an experienced cosplayer or photo editor yet, and am still trying out different stuff, obviously this style does not work quite as well as I had hoped.
