So it's been a while~ 8'D

I'll definitely try to be more active here this year now that I have a bit more freedom (but also more work...) ;A;

So I went to my first convention in 1.5 years and it was fantastic! It was great seeing people again after so long~ ^^

I was extremely nervous about my costume for Kasumi (both making and wearing it), but I think I managed to make it through the con without any major problems! It did take me up until 11am on saturday (yes, the day of the convention) to finish the costume though so I was super super late~ XD

As for the rest of the year, I have quite a few costumes planned that I will almost definitely be doing: School uniform versions of Kallen and Euphemia from Code Geass, Miyuki from Lucky Star, Felicita from Arcana Famiglia and the 'Flower' version of Megurine Luka (The courtesan costume from Project Diva's Magnet). I will also be doing another Dead or Alive photoshoot~

Most of the costumes will be for shoots as far as I know, as I'm not quite sure about how many more cons I will be able to attend due to uni workload~ ><

So yeah! Finally getting back into the flow of things after the sudden transition into university, I'll talk to yous later~ ^^

Hello!~ ^^

Finally confirmed my first photoshoot for Tomoe Mami (Madoka Magica)! I will almost definitely have photos up by mid-September~
I'm kinda nervous to cosplay such an awesome + pretty character, but I will do my best! :3

(If anyone wants to give me any ideas/tips, ESPECIALLY about how to style her fringe... Be my guest! )

Sorry for the lack of anime cosplays lately~ I haven't had many new costumes since I am banned from sewing until the end of the school year and buying things online takes months ;A;

My costume for Karuta (InuxBoku) is also here, although the shirt collar isn't quite right... Might even cosplay Ririchiyo if I feel up to it! ^^
The dress is so cute (but short), I'm actually going to wear it to school on free dress day~ XD

As for my Misaki (Maid-Sama) cosplay, it arrived but the sizing is quite big and a bit too long for me... Might have to sell it and buy a new one, but I will definitely get around to cosing her eventually!

On a side note, everyone should totally check out JacintaMaree's book 'My Demonic Ghost'! ^^
I will be cosplaying a character (the only one I can probably pull off semi-decently) from it very soon!~ :3

So yes... Really really REALLY cannot wait for the holidays so I can photoshoot and sleep and do nothing else~ XD

P.S. I will be selling some wigs/cosplay/anime/manga etc. stuff soon since I need funds for new cosplays~ >_<
I will probably only be selling to Melbourne cosers tho... But if I can figure out this shipping thing I might be able to send elsewhere!~ *really dumb* XD

Mid-Year exams are finally over, and I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that I failed each and every one of them! XD

So on to some less depressing news: Me, EmberFox666 and rinni64 did an angel themed photoshoot for EmberFox666's art folio yesterday~
First photoshoot in ages so my makeup/costume/posing was super awkward... But it was still heaps of fun!

So, holiday cosplay/photoshoot plans! The Togainu no Chi group I am in are hoping to get our shoot done this holidays... Maybe... Finally... So yeah

Other than that, I'll probably be doing another shoot with EmberFox666 in the holidays, this time a non-creepy Alice in wonderland themed one! XD
(Okay, I lie, it'll probably be a bit creepy...)

As for Aus Comic Con, I really wish I could go since Jason Momoa is going to be there, but it's on the same day as my school formal so I can't!~ >_<

Hope everyone who had/has exams did/will do well!~ ^^

(On a random note: The Hetalia english dub is actually insane... Not in a bad way, but still. INSANE XD)

Hello! It's only a week until mid-year exams and I'm too nervous to study, so I'm doing a random journal entry~

My parents have pretty much banned me for going out except during the holidays, so I've been drawing again recently! I was never too good at drawing, and I've gotten even worse from not practicing for so long, so I hope I'll improve again soon! >_<

(I'll be uploading sketches and stuffs on my facebook and tumblr if anyone is interested~)

Also, I've been messing around with my camera and I still cannot find one place in the house where the lighting is not messed up! Everywhere, it's either too dark, or it's not a suitable place to film anything, or the light is really yellow and weird looking, and definitely not good if I want to film any makeup tutorials~ (Which was quite obvious in my super short video from a while ago)
I'm still trying to find somewhere where the lighting will be alright to do videos but it's not looking too good so far~ T_T

If I can't figure anything out by the next holidays, I will (finally) be doing another text + photos makeup tutorial for my gyaru inspired makeup~ ^^

Also, I saw a photo of some pokemon inspired makeup a few days ago, and since the makeup artist who did them didn't do many of my favourite pokemon, I decided to design some myself! I'm going to try some of them out after exams, and maybe upload them here if they turn out well! ^^

In the meanwhile, I'm gonna maybe work on a few reviews for new stuff I've bought, and some basic makeup advice stuffs~
I'm FAR from a pro makeup artist, but I have been collecting/practicing makeup related stuff obsessively for quite a while now, so hopefully they will be helpful for some people~ XD

Another small thing, I will be doing a photoshoot with my friend (hopefully sometime soon) for a undead/zombie maid, or nurse, or... Something... XD

Cosplay related update time!

I just a did a huge taobao order (since I'm not allowed to sew costumes until after the end of year 12), and on top of the cosplays I've already mentioned, I also ordered costumes and wigs for Misaki from Kaichou wa Maid Sama and Karuta from Inu x Boku SS! I already have a wig that would work for Ririchiyo, but she is too loli for me to cosplay~ ;A;
